Odor Observer Committee/
Meetings

- More Information
Whatever the duration of the committee, the deliverable service will include three types of meetings:
- Working meetings, involving only the operator and Odotech. This allows joint definition of the site parameters to be taken into consideration for the duration of committee.
- Information meetings which allow opportunities for meetings between neighbors, the operator and Odotech. On these occasions, Odotech will present results month by month, from neighbors’ motivation to internal efforts by the corporation. These meetings are essential for developing trust between the three partners.
- Training meetings, which are for presenting in a controlled fashion odor samples representative of site activities to neighbors. They can thus sniff and learn to recognize the various odors associated with various sources. This training, which can be more or less intensive, is designed to increase the reliability of observations to be submitted later. These meetings are repeated in order to maintain the neighbors' olfactory memories, and to assess the possible evolution in sources due to changes in site procedures.
