Odotech,a company with almost 20 years of experience in helping operators manages environmental problems related to odors, gaseous contaminants, and dust will be present at Pollutec 2016. On the occasion of this 27th International Exhibition of Environmental Equipment Technologies and Services, our expert, Jean-Michel Turmel, PhD in chemistry, will be one of the speakers in the conference about “Technologies and innovative products at the service of air quality.”
The Environmental Platform OdoWatch: An essential link between industrials and community will be the subject of the session presented by Mr. Turmel. OdoWatch, a comprehensive yet easy to use platform, gives operators the capability to better manage environmental impacts caused by odor emissions. Furthermore, this real-time monitoring tool integrates modeling software (either CALPUFF or AERMOD) which helps assess the odor impacts on the community and help identify which of the sources on site is responsible. Moreover, this environmental platform also features a complaint management module to help collect and efficiently manage citizens’ complaints about odors. Odotech has installed more than 120 environmental OdoWatch monitoring platforms in 22 countries.
Mr. Turmel has over 20 years of experience in the environmental and odor management field. He has been involved in several environmental projects such as the containment of radioactive waste with the CEA (Atomic Energy Commission) and numerous assessments of industrial waste and their impacts on the community. Mr. Turmel is responsible for Odotech’s sales management in France and neighbouring countries.
