OdoWatchTM
merges the weather data with the odor data in order to display
on the screen the odor plume superimposed on the aerial map
of the site and its surroundings. The operator thus sees at
a glance the effect of "his" odors on the neighborhood.
When using meteorological forecast data,OdoWatchTM
can also predict the odor impact up to 24 hours ahead. This
enables the operator to take the steps required to reduce
the odor in order to prevent the nuisance from occurring.
OdoWatchTM
can:
- Distinguish the odors generated by the site from those
originating elsewhere;
- Continuously archive the results for later reference
in case of complaints by neighbors;
- Identify the most troublesome odor sources;
- Issue alerts when preset thresholds are exceeded;
- Lead to quick action in the event of operating incidents.
