An OdoWatch
TM network comprises electronic noses
(e-noses), a weather tower, and a Central Control Unit.
Each e-nose contains a matrix of sensors optimized for
the odors of the site. They sample the air 24 hours a day,
and transmit the results to the Central Control Unit where
the OdoWatchTM software merges them with the
meteorological data in order to model the atmospheric dispersion
of odors. The diagram below shows an OdoWatchTM
system designed for a waste water treatment plant.
